This system was for a new build on a rural block. Although at a lovely location it was hampered by the distance to the closest power connection point. At connection prices somewhere over $100,000 for the 1.5km of line needed, grid connection was out of the question.

The system we installed consists of a 6.8kW Schneider inverter with intergraded 5kW DC coupled solar on a tilt frame with the south facing roof and 15.6kWh EV Power battery solution. Though installed in 2017 it has plenty of room to expand as the family grows and power needs change. It has performed beyond expectations and has not needed the generator at all for this energy efficient household.
